Academic Earth- Intro to Computers

This is an introductory course from Harvard University. The lecturer is engaging. I believe many of my middle school students are capable of understanding this information. Academic Earth is an amazing free opportunity to be a non-enrolled student at some of the prestigious universities in our country.

I'm getting into LibraryThing. I'm enjoying finding others who share the same titles and am finding other like-minded middle school librarians. One borrowed idea is to tag books from my school's collection to alert students/staff, in my case "central." Here is a widget to show my collection:
